Both tests measure sound transference from an upper level room to a lower level room. The ICC measures sound, such as moving furniture and walking, while the STC measures sound such as voice and television.

 

Easy To Install

Installation instructions:

1. Clean the level sub-floor. Make sure the sub-floor is dry

2. Roll out underlayment with the moister barrier film facing down to the sub-floor.

3. Join seams of the underlayment with the adhesive tape

4. Install the flooring according to the flooring manufacturer’s installation instructions
